improvements The Irish Centre began its programme of refurbishment during 2006. The toilets upstairs and downstairs have been overhauled and a  disabled toilet has been added. Work on a new lift, giving access to all floors at the Centre has now been completed and will be officially opened on Saturday, 9th February, 2008 by the Irish Ambassador to Britain, His Excedllency Mr. David Cooney.   With disabled access at the front door of the Centre everyone is now given a 'cead mile failte'.
Also the bar and lounge will be undergoing changes in the future hopefully making us the smartest Irish Centre anywhere.
